A short history of Infosys :
- N. R. Narayan Murthi founded the business under the name Infosys Technologies Limited in Pune, Maharashtra, in 1981 .
- To start this business, Mr. Murthi and his group of six engineers invested a total of $250 dollars.
- The company moved its head office from Pune to Bangalore in 1983.
- In 1993,When Infosys became a publicly traded company ,it launched a stock options scheme for all its employees.
- The company launched its first public offering (IPO) in February 1993. The offer price for each share in these IPOs was INR 95, whereas the book value was INR 20 per share.
- Infosys’s shares were the most valuable on the market in 1999. In terms of market valuation, Infosys became one of the top 20 IT businesses and held the distinction of being the first IT company to list on the NASDAQ.
- Infosys made US $100 million in 1999; by 2014, it had grown to US $1 billion, and by 2017 to US $10 billion.
- The Australian company Expert Information Services Pty Ltd was 100% owned by the company in 2004. Later, Infosys Technologies (Australia) Pty Ltd took its place.
- Infosys Technologies (China) Co. Ltd. was founded in the People’s Republic of China on October 2, 2004.
- In 2005, the business established Infosys Consulting Inc. in Texas, US, with the aim of expanding the Global Delivery Model.
- 2009 saw the incorporation of Infosys Technologies (Sweden) AB in Sweden and Infosys Consulting Inc. in 2009–2010.
- Infosys announced the opening of its 18th foreign office in the US in 2012. The decision was made to locate the office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in order to provide services to the Harley-Davidson region.

Requirements :
