  • The company was created in year 1982 in Israel as an extension of Golden Pages, an Israeli phone directory company owned by the Aurec Group, led by Morris Kahn. Amdocs’ first President and CEO was Boaz Dotan, who took office in year 1982.
  • Kahn and their colleagues at Golden Pages created a billing software programme for phone directory companies and, with the Boaz Dotan, founded Aurec Information & Directory Systems to market it.
  • In year 1985, Southwestern Bell Corporation (SBC)purchased a 50% stake in Aurec Information firm & Directory Systems, which was then renamed as Amdocs.
  • Within the two years, the Aurec Group sold up its entire stake in Amdocs for about $1 billion dollars.
  • Between year 1990 and year 1995, Amdocs started begining its diversification efforts, first in wireline telephone and then in the mobile.
  • Amdocs has gradually expanded its product and service offerings throughout the years. “Avi Naor” became Amdocs president and CEO in year 1995, succeeding the Boaz Dotan.
  • The company went public on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in June 1998, and it moved to the NASDAQ Global Select Market in year 2014.
  • Amdocs joined the managed services market in the year 1999 through the acquisition of ITDS firm.
  • Clarify, a software business, was acquired by Amdocs for $200 million dollars in year 2001.Dov Baharav became President and CEO of Amdocs in year 2002, succeeding Avi Naor.
  • Amdocs spent $238 million in year 2005 to buy DST Innovis, a billing and CRM (Customer relationship management) company. In year 2006, Amdocs purchased Cramer Systems.
  • In year 2007, Amdocs paid $85 million dollars to purchase Israeli firm SigValue.Amdocs paid $60 million dollars in 2008 for Changing Worlds, an Irish software startup.
  • Eli Gelman became President and CEO of Amdocs in November year 2010, succeeding Dov Baharav.Also in year 2010, Amdocs paid $104 million for MX Telecom firm.
  • In 2011, Amdocs purchased Bridgewater Systems firm.
  • In 2013, the business paid $129 million for Celcite firm.
  • Also in 2013, Amdocs paid $120 million for Actix firm.
  • In 2015, Amdocs bought the majority of Comverse BSS for $272 million dollars.

  • Manage the ServiceNow related issues,queries and request the workflows by taking the responsibility, prioritising the incoming work and delivering the services within the set of Service Level Agreement (SLA) timescales.
  • Resolve the quries and reply to user questions received via ServiceNow platform, email, or other collaborative means that fulfil set of OLA and SLA’s.
  • Use technical knowledge bases (that can be internal and external) to handle the technical issues, and collaborate with the relevant teams as whenever needed.
  • Provide the support of IT Infrastructure in the meeting or conference room.
  • Vendor management – Deal with numerous and various desktops or laptop vendors to meet current needs and for future plans.
  • Initiate procurement needs for new PC or laptop devices to fulfil the existing and growing requirements.
  • Attends calls after the office hours and even on the weekends for any serious interruption or disrruptions in IT services.
  • Document the new procedures and maintain documentation on troubleshooting ,debugging and technology and contribute to the knowledge base as whenever required.
  • Collaborate and engage efficiently and closely with the end users and the IT stakeholders.

  • Candidate with minimum of 0 to 6 months of technical support experience required.
  • Candidate with excellent communication abilities is preffered.
  • Should have basic knowledge of remote support tools such as Windows messenger, RDP (Remote Desktop Protoco), Net Meeting, and SCCM (Microsoft System Center Configuration Manage)
  • Should have excellent grasping of computer and laptop hardware systems.
  • Should have expert knowledge of the Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems and the Mac OS system.
  • Required Intermediate knowledge of Windows Exchange communications system (WECS).
  • Intermediate knowledge the of backup systems such as the OneDrive and Druva.
  • Intermediate familiarity with the Microsoft Office 365 and its tools.
  • Knowledge of Windows System Administration. (Windows 7 or Windows 10)
  • Knowledge of PC or Laptop Support
  • Hardware expertise of laptop, desktop, and the printer
  • Expertise in MS suite products and its tools, including MS 365 office, as well as should have Excel reporting skills.
  • Ability to operate in a group and communicate with all the team members for either their assistance at work or sharing their own experiences.
  • Good collaborative abilties to attain the given targets.
  • Excellent English communication abilities to communicate with clients.
  • Patient with the consumers.
  • Should have an ownership mentality to handle and solve all the problems on your own or with the support of others employees.
  • Candidate should be a self-starter with the limited remote help.
