Roles and Responsibilities :
Product Requirements :
- Understand the functional/ non functional requirements received from the stakeholders for enhancement or maintainence.
- Participation in meetings to review Product Requirements and Functional Requirements and create clarification list to proceed forward.
- Conduct feasibility study report to understand the impact of the requirements on the existing product.
Additonal Requirements :
- Provide inputs and details to the development lead on the given estimations.
- Understand complex functional and non functional product requirements.
- Create a low level design report to capture class level diagrams and attributes which are mapped to the class and sequence diagram, based on the understanding of high level design schema.
- Get review inputs from the Architect Lead and implement accordingly.
Product Design and Development :
- Create (POC) Proof Of Concept’s to identify the feasibility of new technologies or products and share the inputs with the team for new products.
- Provide technical direction for product research ,design, analysis, testing ,process improvement and complex troubleshoot for large projects.
- Create high level software design (HLSD) reports under the guidance of Architect teams.
- Build design standards and deliver solutions which should be meet product’s functional and non functional requirements.
- Provide technical expert advice to resolve complex programming and design problems.
- Participate in code reviews and eliminate complex problems in early phases during development cycle.
- Review of low level design report for product enhancement or maintainence.
- Seek review inputs from the product lead and implement.
- Build code as per the design report.
- Provide technical guidance to the whole team to resolve challenging technical issues.
- Create requirement report and review test cases according to coding standards.
- Identify similar ways to improve or reduce the product defects.
- provide support to the client in user acceptance testing if required during release.
Testing :
- Implement and Review Test Cases / Test Plan.
- Implement and Conduct Integration testing ,Automation testing and resolve complex defects/bugs during QA Testing.
Product Training and Documentation :
- Provide inputs to technical team and review the documentation of key features.
Product Sign Offs :
- Resolve existing issues.
- Collect feedback from the client and identify ways to improve the usability.
Project Management :
- Provide technical inputs on the process of the product development to the technical lead.
People Management and coordination :
- Guide product engineers and conduct one on one sessions to guide team members.
- Set challenging goals for team members and monitor their performance daily.
- Conduct yearly performance analysis and appraisals for team members.
