- This will be a customer facing position in the Field IT Team’s Application and Systems troubleshooting team, handling the tickets for server, storage, and for the backup management.
- Support to the IT Deskside sector to meet its goals in accordance with already established SLAs will be part of this job role.
- Additionally, the individual will be “act as the key person” in the IT Deskside team in the event that the supported SSC’s disaster recovery plan and business continuity plan are activated.
- They also have to serve as the primary or secondary contact for IT Systems on site, LAN, WAN, Voice, Printing services, etc.
- Assist with end user computing requirements by cmmunicating with the SCCM and CMDB teams.
- Follow Johnson Controls’ instructions to guarantee obedience to business IT standards.
- Ensure that every support matter is resolved to the satisfaction of the client, within the pre-determined service levels making sure that every task alloted is appropriately documented in the applicable ticket logging system
- Helping with tasks allotted by outside service supplier
- Track the daily use of system resources for IBC systems, identify problems, and works to resolve them in accordance with a mutual SOP.
- Execution of site information technology projects.
- Arranging for the training and education activities necessary for IT related tasks at the location.
