History :
On February 15, 2007, the business was started as Infotel Broadband Services Limited (IBSL) in Ambawadi, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Reliance Industries (RIL) almost paid ₹4,800 cr’s (near about ₹110 billion in 2023) for a 95% stake in IBSL in June 2010.
In the earlier during that year’s 4G auction,Infotel Broadband Services Limited (IBSL) was the only unlisted business to win broadband spectrum in all 22 Indian circles.
Infotel Broadband Services Limited, which had continued as RIL’s telecom company, was renamed as Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (RJIL) in January 2013.

Job Responsibilities for Reliance Jio Off Campus Drive – 2024:
- Design, plan and build end to end international networks.
- Coordinate with device and product teams to develop requirements to enable 4G, 3G and 2G roaming capability.
- Validate the technical specifications and designs for enabling global roaming that includes authentication, authorization, accounting,billing, provisioning, performance management etc.. in a seamless manner.
- Help in the preparation of technical level proposals for new network deployment / upgrades / investments with various business units ,inputs for the internal business decisions and budgeting.
- Execute validation of different service providers capabilities in terms of performance, coverage, etc.
- Analyze the problem and troubleshoot network, performance and route analysis.
- Identify root cause issues and make recommendations for its improvement.
